"September 2017 earthquakes: Lessons and Challenges"

The Mexican Society of Earthquake Engineering is pleased to welcome its members, and professionals from a broad range of disciplines: architecture; civil engineering, structural and geotechnical, earth sciences, seismology and geology; emergency response, public policy, planning and regulation, business and social sciences, regional planning, , professors, researchers, students, companies staff and government entities related to design, construction and urban or industrial construction norms to Mexico City, for the XV Earthquake Engineering National Symposium which will be held from 5th through 7th of September 2018.


Generate a forum for the analysis of the lessons learned by the effect of the September 2017 earthquakes and discuss on what is still to be learned, the strategies to achieve that goal and the challenges we face..

Unlike previous symposiums, there will be a posters sessions focusing to 9 themes exclusively related to the september 2017 earthquakes.
