XXI Earthquake Engineering Mexican Conference
The Mexican Society of Earthquake Engineering is pleased to welcome its members, and professionals from a broad range of disciplines: architecture; civil engineering, structural and geotechnical, earth sciences, seismology and geology; emergency response, public policy, planning and regulation, business and social sciences, regional planning, , professors, researchers, students, companies staff and government entities related to design, construction and urban or industrial construction norms to the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, for the XXI Earthquake Engineering Mexican Conference which will be held from 20th through 23th of September 2017.
The goal of the Conference is to provide an space for researchers, engineers, teachers and students to meet, present advances and exchange ideas and experiences related to earthquake engineering, as well as to debate the need to apply and update Constantly design codes in order to mitigate the effect and consequences of earthquakes.
This year the Conference goes to the city of Guadalajara which is the capital of the State of Jalisco and is the third most populated city in the country. Its rich historical and cultural heritage invites to a mosaic of cultural activities, ecotourism and recognized gastronomy.
