"Building resilience of cities in mountain regions to earthquakes and landslides"

Chief Operating Officer & Project Manager at Geohazards International, Menlo Park, California

Janise Rodgers brings a background in structural and earthquake engineering research to her work as Project for GHI’s projects. Her primary areas of expertise are the behavior of buildings during earthquakes and the design of structures to resist earthquake shaking. She holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A & M University.
